Press Operator CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Press Operators in Hampton, NH! We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven Flexographic Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Hampton, NH. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed packaging products that meet customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to production orders and job specifications. Review order tickets and ensure the correct materials, inks, plates, dies, and press settings are used for each job. Run test samples and make adjustments to achieve proper print quality, color matching, die-cutting accuracy, and registration. Fine-tune press settings throughout production to maintain quality and efficiency. Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to obtain first-piece approval prior to full production runs. Ensure all product specifications and quality standards are consistently met throughout production. Monitor print quality continuously and make corrections as needed. Maintain accurate production records and promptly report production issues. Perform routine press maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Desired Background/Skills: Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses. Experience in flexible packaging, labels, converting, printing, or related manufacturing environments. Knowledge of color matching, registration, die-cutting, and print quality standards. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and production documentation. Experience performing press set-ups, changeovers, and basic maintenance. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to read and accurately interpret ruler measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
