What You'll Do In the role of Environmental Safety & Health Manager, your duties will include: * Manage environmental programs for compliance, pollution prevention, and /or natural resource protection programs. * Prepares and oversees SOWs and cost estimates for environmental studies, designs, and projects. * Continually ensures and monitors compliance and investigations of non-compliant issues. * Establishes and manages hazardous waste storage and disposal policies and practices. * Oversees identification and validation of potential contaminated sites and development/implementation of remedial action plans. * Manages staff, budget and policies affecting specific programs. * Other duties as required. Requirements: * Must possess an active US Secret security clearance and be eligible and willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI w/ Poly * Five plus (5)+ years of professional experience * Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Fire Protection Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; OR - H.S. Diploma or equivalent AND 10+ years' experience in the related discipline. * Credentialed/Certified in one of the relevant areas of expertise: (Professional Engineer License, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, qualified environmental professional or approved equivalent). * Expert knowledge of occupational safety and health to include: fire protection engineering, environmental compliance, restoration managements concepts, principles, practices, procedures, body of laws and regulations.
