Job Description & Requirements Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Start Date: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 Pay Rate: $97.00 - $105.00 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 1-hour break; last patient scheduled at 4:30 PM; 18‑week assignment beginning August 3, 2026. Practice Setting: Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic located offsite in a medical office building across from the hospital. No inpatient care, bedside care, cath lab, or procedural responsibilities. Responsibilities: Plan and provide cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation for patients, including assessments, history and physicals, and care coordination. Develop exercise and treatment plans and monitor telemetry during therapy sessions. Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle changes, and rehabilitation progress. Oversee rehabilitation program effectiveness and coordinate follow‑up care. Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse license with Board recognition as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Certified Nurse Practitioner (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Proficiency with ScottCare Versacare Software EMR.
