Job Description The

Mold Shop Supervisor

is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation, along with all related design and specification activities.

The Mold Shop Supervisor will:

Review bottle quality and mold equipment operating data

Analyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changes

Be responsible for department’s preventive maintenance program

Conducts periodic inspections

Manage department KPI’s

Ensure correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followed

Oversee Mold Maker apprenticeship programs

The Mold Shop Supervisor should have:

Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross-functional teams

Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Be able to support job changes and improvement initiatives

Project management skills

Qualifications High school diploma required

Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred

Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desired

Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.

Strong mechanical background

Prior mold shop operation experience is preferred

Working knowledge of SAP desired Additional Information What we offer at O-I: Salary Range:

The expected salary range for this position is between

$115,000 - $125,000

and includes a possible

12%

short-term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. O-I offers a very generous benefit package – some of the highlights are:
