Job Description
Title: Telemetry / Step-Down RN

Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Travel experience required
- Telemetry / step-down experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation
- EMR: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients in telemetry and step-down units, assessing vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and families on medical procedures and post-care instructions.
- Respond to acute changes in patient conditions, implementing rapid response protocols as necessary.

Compliance / Notes:
- Maximum 7 days of RTO (no RTO allowed first week)
- Local rule: No local candidates within a 75-mile radius
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Orientation: 24 hours
