Maintenance Technician

A manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on building, mechanical equipment, utility systems and other company owned equipment. This is a first shift position and you will start between 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Job Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine air, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical solutions
Perform needed repairs or maintenance in accordance with blueprints, manuals, building codes or other accepted quality work practices
Develop and perform preventative maintenance of machines and equipment to prevent future and reoccurring issues
Perform minor repair of all buildings and equipment
Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts, and order parts as needed
Complete projects assigned, complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures
Mentor and train other employees on intermediate preventative maintenance tasks
Assure all departments comply with all written health and safety regulations and procedures
Provide maintenance and safety records to supervisor when requested
Perform job rotations during scheduled workday depending on production needs
