Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio ManagerWells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager within the Commercial Banking Group. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the top commercial banking lenders in the U.S.This role will cover the investment real estate segment for companies with portfolios ranging in size from $25 million to $2 billion. This role requires an understanding of commercial real estate lending, evaluating credit risk across traditional and complex financing arrangements, market dynamics, financial analysis, and risk management principles.In this role, you will:Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex private banking as well as consumer and mortgage relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional areaReview and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factorsResolve moderately complex issues and lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, to meet project deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid level managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individualsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:2+ years of experience underwriting Investor Real Estate clientsStrong Investor Real Estate lending credit analysis skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExperience with commercial, owner-occupied real estate lending including documentation, due diligence, and regulatory compliance processesCredit underwriting experience including Commercial Middle Market/Mid-Corp credit or specialty group relationship portfolio creditStrong analytical skills and the ability to spread, analyze perform in depth commercial financial statement analysisStrong risk management and compliance skillsAbility to understand and review loan documentationDemonstrated experience showing attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to independently problem solveExperience / ability working in a high paced environment, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with experience effectively working and communicating with internal partners both in person and remotelyMicrosoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modelingJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeThis position does not support Visa SponsorshipAbility to work a hybrid work scheduleSpecific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
