Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric intensive care and be flexible to float within various pediatric units as needed.Shift DetailsWork Schedule: 3x12 hour days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)36 hours per weekWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Rotation: RequiredRatios: 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratiosResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor and assess patients' conditions, providing necessary interventions and support.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience is required.First-time travelers may be considered if they possess the necessary experience.Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) License is mandatory.Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.Additional InformationBlock schedule accommodations will be considered with managerial approval, depending on unit needs.Employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November). Travelers should avoid confirming new assignments during this period.All Requests for Time Off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, with approval dependent on unit needs.The facility reserves the right to call off one shift per two weeks.Client Details State SC
