About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Program Management Governance Manager to play a pivotal role in the maturity and global implementation of its Project Management Governance Framework. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving the strategic direction of project and program management governance, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, and leading a high-performing team in the development and maintenance of robust PM policies, standards, and procedures. The successful candidate will act as a key advisor to the Program Management Council, integrating and communicating PM requirements across all business lines and global functions. Key responsibilities for the role include providing strategic leadership, overseeing the development of PM documentation, and contributing to a strong governance organization. The role also involves proactive management of regulatory and audit processes, influencing senior executives, and championing the transition to data-driven PMO practices. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years' experience in program/project management within a global financial institution or highly regulated industry, with a strong background in governance, regulatory acumen, and a deep understanding of both traditional and modern delivery methodologies. A PMP or PgMP certification is highly recommended, and the candidate should possess exceptional analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
