Waiter/WaitressVital Medical Staffing is currently hiring dependable and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses for a senior living community in Baton Rouge. We are looking for individuals who enjoy providing great service, work well with others, and understand the importance of creating a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.This position is a direct hire opportunity with a facility that values professionalism, kindness, and reliability. Weekend coverage is especially important for this role, so candidates with flexible availability Friday through Monday are strongly encouraged to apply.Shift Details:Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMCoverage needed 7 days per weekMost schedules will focus on Friday–Monday coverageAdditional weekday shifts may be available as neededApproximately 25–35 hours weeklyDay Shift Hours | No Late NightsResponsibilities:Greet residents and guests in a friendly and attentive mannerTake food and beverage orders accuratelyDeliver meals and beverages promptlyMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and workstationsSet, clear, and reset dining tablesRefill beverages and restock supplies as neededAssist with buffet setup and breakdown when applicableWash and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchenwareHelp maintain kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, and freezer cleanlinessFollow food safety and sanitation proceduresCommunicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure excellent serviceQualifications:Previous serving, waiter/waitress, hospitality, or strong customer service experience preferredFine dining experience is a plusFriendly and professional communication skillsReliable and punctualAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureMust be able to stand and walk for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionallyDress Code:All black attire requiredNon-slip shoes requiredAdditional Information:Vital Medical Staffing will coordinate in person interviewsInterviews will be conducted by the facilityPay reevaluation available after 90 days for possible increaseIf you enjoy providing excellent customer service and want to be part of a team that supports residents with care and professionalism, we'd love to hear from you.
