Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We are expanding our team and adding Clinic Location in HOMER GLEN and TINLEY PARK .

we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their maximum potential in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress.
• Provide therapy in various settings including Outpatient clinic and Home Visits
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and effective case management.
• Educate patients and their families
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through ongoing professional development.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Experience working with 0-15 Yrs of Age
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology is essential.
• Previous experience in Pediatric Setting, early intervention programs is preferred.
