Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Arkansas Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. Interstate licensure compact eligibility does not replace state license requirements. BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required prior to start. Minimum one year of recent acute care or hospital-based physical therapy experience preferred. Client requires experience in hospital or inpatient rehab settings. Experience with mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and discharge planning in an acute or rehab hospital environment preferred. Ability to document in electronic medical records required. Experience with common hospital EMR systems is preferred.
