As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following site‑specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols for a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to management and/or emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor activity across the property and report maintenance issues, policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or other unusual conditions according to site procedures. Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and documenting daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in a clear and timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
