Key responsibilities include planning and overseeing daily nursing activities, administering medications, completing required documentation, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The RN also performs professional nursing services such as catheterization, wound care, and IV care, while fostering a warm and collaborative environment. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with physicians, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining effective communication with residents, families, and staff to meet residents needs./ppstrongResponsibilities, including but not limited to:/strong/pulliBe able to perform all functions under your active license as it pertains to your assigned duties./liliKnow the residents you serve, providing care based on their care plans and physician orders./liliPrepare administer medications as ordered by the physician./liliDevelop maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift. Receive/give the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
