Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Four 9-hour shifts (0700–1630) with rotating day off | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary circulating RN for surgical cases across multiple service lines in a community hospital OR setting
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with surgical patients throughout perioperative care
• Participate in room turnovers alongside the full OR team, contributing to efficient case flow
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including one weeknight call per week (1630–0700) and one 48-hour weekend call rotation approximately every 6–7 weeks
• Operate standard OR equipment and document accurately using EPIC EMR
• Assist on other units for 1:1 coverage during low-census periods as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with OR circulating experience
• Minimum 5 years of OR circulating experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred alongside clinical background
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (for on-call coverage)
• Experience working in a smaller facility OR with exposure to multiple surgical service lines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, and/or ENT
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a small community hospital environment
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to assist across all aspects of OR operations
