Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care Unit) is available for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The shift is 2x3 days, with 12-hour shifts. Start date is 09/08/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $1,673 to $1,781, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. This assignment occurs in a hospital setting, caring for a cardiac patient population in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU unit, with potential assignment to telemetry beds as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult cardiology patients in the PCU/IMCU, including post-acute and acute cardiac conditions.
- Monitor telemetry, assess changes, and respond according to unit protocols; administer and titrate cardiac medications as ordered (including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors).
- Maintain the nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4 and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, coordinators, and telemetry staff.
- Manage documentation, care plans, and patient education; coordinate transitions of care and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to BLS and ACLS standards; participate in ongoing patient safety and quality initiatives.
- May be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower-acuity patients; adapt as required to unit needs.

Requirements
- Must have documented PCU/IMCU experience with a minimum of 2 years in a facility of similar size.
- Proficiency with cardiac care, including monitoring patients on cardiology drips and vasoactive medications (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, pressors) and telemetry.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Ability to work in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU unit with cardiac patients and to adapt to occasional assignments to telemetry beds with lower acuity.
- On onboarding, load all demographic information and badge photo as part of the required process.
