Company Description Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance was founded in 2007 to bring the region another level of care focused on the highest standards of clinical excellence. Since its founding, the practice has grown to include three new clinical partners—Jen Atwood, Rick Beeson, and Andrew Fortner—and achieved ABPTRFE accreditation for its in‑house Sports Residency and Orthopedic Residency Programs. Premier PT is an outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy group treating musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain for all conditions. We specialize in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, dry needling, vestibular interventions, splinting, certified hand therapy, industrial injury prevention, recovery from auto‑accident injuries, post‑concussion treatment, balance training, post‑surgical rehabilitation, athletic training, and the treatment and rehabilitation of acute and chronic pain and injury conditions. We also provide outreach athletic training services to nine Delaware high schools and multiple community sports organizations, and we currently operate ten locations throughout Delaware. Job Description We are seeking motivated full‑time Physical Therapists who thrive in a culture of excellence and desire professional and personal growth. This opening is for a position in our energetic outpatient clinic in Smyrna, Delaware, where we value evidence‑based clinical excellence and genuine care for patients above all else. What You’ll Do Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results. Review the physician’s referral (prescription) and the patient’s condition and medical records to determine the required physical therapy treatment. Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines. Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers. Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and design a comprehensive program to attain those goals. Implement the physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies. Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers’ compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist Assistant license and CPR certification. Outgoing and energetic personality.
