Laboratory Manager
Location: Northside Hospital Forsyth Cumming, Georgia 30041 Shift: 6:30am 3:00pm
Responsibilities:
Responsible for effective coordination of day to day laboratory operations on all shifts. Manages processes and workflow within the departments to maximize productivity and ensure service effectiveness for all customers. Sections include Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion & Tissue Services, Microbiology, Histology, Specimen Collection and Processing, and Phlebotomy.
Qualifications / Must Have Skills:
7 - 10 Years experience required Bachelor of Science Degree, Medical Technologist, ASCP (certified as a technologist specialist.) Must possess eight (8) years prior medical experience Must possess three (3) years of supervisory experience in operations, information systems and software applications, planning, fiscal, and human resources. Possess excellent verbal and written communication, mathematical, and analytical skills. Demonstrate the ability to make decisions, solve problems, and promote laboratory services and organization to physicians and general public.
Preferred:
Master's degree in science and four (4) years of supervisory/management experience.
