Student Internship Program for Summer 2026 The City of Santa Clara and Mission College are partnering for a Student Internship Program for Summer 2026. The City is looking for Student Intern II's to perform work in various departments Citywide. As part of this program, Student Intern II's are required to be currently enrolled in Mission College (proof of enrollment will be required). The 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from June 2026 - August 2026. The following departments are seeking interns: Department of Public Works: Traffic Engineering Division Finance Department: Municipal Services Division Human Resources Department: Benefits and HRIS Division Human Resources Department: Recruitment and Classification Division Library Department: Bookmobile Library Department: Northside Branch Library Department: Youth Services Silicon Valley Power/Electric Department: Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security (SSG) Silicon Valley Power/Electric Department: Service Desk, Desktop Engineering Water & Sewer Utilities: Engineering Division Water & Sewer Utilities: Compliance Division Please be sure to stop by Mission College - TAV Budiling on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 11am-2pm for an in-person Career Fair and on the spot interviews to meet with hiring managers. Event is open to Mission College students ONLY. The hourly rate for this position is $21.69. Incumbents will be hired near the bottom of the range.
