Description for the Job Role & Responsibilities

You will work closely with senior consultants and company leadership to envision a client’s future state digital solution, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the consulting field. Working with management, individuals at this level participate intimately in applying system implementation practices and consulting expertise in support of business-led IT transformation initiatives. Success in the role affords career growth opportunity to lead business analysis teams and support project management activities on client engagements.

Typical activities performed by the Technology Analyst include:

· Facilitate internal and client-facing discussion around the technical characteristics around an envisioned solution.

· Lead in the analysis of technical processes, systems and applications, data, and information flow(s) through interactive sessions with the client and teams.

· Document end-user technology system requirements to implement a target solution.

· Synthesize technical architecture, logical diagrams, and specifications into polished deliverables and artifacts.

· Perform basic project management functions around the pipelining of key deliverable activities.

Required Qualifications

• Local to Washington DC / Northern Virginia metro area.
• Hybrid work. Minimum 3-days on-site @ Arlington corporate office or client location.
• 0-2 years of work experience with designing and implementing IT solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Information Systems.
• Experience with database systems and/or structured programming languages.
• Ability to harvest key technical information from internal and client-facing conversations and convert that into technical design documentation.
• Project experience with authoring system design, infrastructure, data flow, data integration / middleware, information flows, and logical diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with business application solutions.
• Certifications or education similar or related to System Engineering or Information Systems.
• Familiarity or affinity with finance and accounting.
• Knowledge around conducting process design and the re-engineering of processes
