The CBS Stations' Local Ad Sales team is responsible for driving all local revenue growth across all Paramount Global streaming & digital assets, as well as the 27 owned & operated CBS Television Stations. This team collaborates across Paramount Global and CBS Stations divisions, providing thought leadership that drives the local sales GTM strategy, innovation opportunities, training & development, and revenue generation.

Position Overview:

We are looking for exceptional candidates for the Manager, Account Management role, who will train and develop Account Managers to drive client and campaign excellence across our portfolio of digital & streaming assets, inclusive of Paramount+, CBS, Pluto TV, and more. The candidate will also work closely and collaborate with sales teams, clients, and internal Paramount teams.

Role Details:

The Manager, Account Management sits between individual-contributor account management and regional sales leadership, providing the day-to-day client and campaign management, coaching, and quality control that the Account Manager team needs to deliver sales performance. While the Account Managers roll up into their Directors, the Manager, Account Management works in tandem with the Regional Digital Sales Director(s) and Local Sales Management to translate revenue goals and priorities into clear direction for the team.

The Manager, Account Management, will work directly with Account Managers on account sales strategy, campaign specifics, and client escalations. This role is also the primary point of contact for the internal teams that power local sales delivery -- including Data, Ad Operations, Yield, Marketing, Research, and Ad Systems -- building and maintaining the workflows the Local team relies on to execute successfully. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized communicator who is energized by developing people, driving excellence, and building a strong culture.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Directly develop the Account Manager team, including workload distribution, coaching, and sales performance feedback
• Work in tandem with the Regional Digital Sales Director(s) to lead the Account Manager team through the full sales cycle for all clients
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Data, Ad Operations, Yield, Marketing, Research, Ad Systems, and other internal teams to deliver the best-in-class client experience
• Partner with Directors and Sales Leadership to ensure Account Managers have the tools, training, and support needed to execute digital & streaming campaigns and become a future account executive
• Identify workflow gaps between Local Sales and internal partner teams, and drive process improvements that drive revenue growth
• Report team & client performance, and development progress to the Regional Digital Sales Director

Qualifications:

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in advertising/media account management, sales or sales support, with digital, streaming and/or linear experience preferred
• Prior experience mentoring, training, or informally leading other account management or sales staff
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams (e.g. Ad Operations, Yield, Data, Marketing, Research) to solve workflow and process challenges on behalf of the sales team
• Excels in communication, organizational and time management
• Team-first mentality
• Dedicated and driven work ethic

You might also have:

• BS / BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Understanding of the following applications is a plus: Salesforce, Operative, GAM, Google Analytics, FreeWheel, WideOrbit, Google Suite or other web related applications

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 - 110,000.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
