- Conduct product testing at multiple stages of production (in process, bulk, and finished goods).
- Perform routine analyses such as pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and sensory evaluations (color, odor, texture, appearance).
- Accurately record, interpret, and report test results in compliance with batch instructions, specifications, and GMP/GDP standards.
- Prepare and send samples to contract laboratories and customers, ensuring timely follow up.
- Calibrate, maintain, and monitor laboratory equipment; document daily conditions such as temperature.
- Manage reagent and supply inventory, as well as master and retain sample libraries.
- Follow laboratory protocols including chemical handling, safety procedures, SOPs, and equipment use.
- Support investigations into out of specification results or product complaints.
- Maintain an organized workspace and participate in cross training for other QC functions.
- Prior industry experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
