Senior Accountant

We are working with the Controller of a fast-growing manufacturer and supplier based in Passaic County, NJ. They are looking to add a dynamic Senior Accountant to their organization. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including a generous 401k and ESOP plan!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and month-end close activities
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for Controller review
• Prepare monthly variance analyses comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators for management review
• Review job cost reports for completeness, accuracy, and proper cost allocation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of Accounting experience within Construction, Manufacturing, or Home Service
• Exposure to Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and working knowledge of ERP systems

COMPENSATION:

$95,000 - $105,000 + discretionary bonus
