EP Mapping Specialist, CAS- Columbia

Overview Manage EP mapping solutions for cardiac electrophysiology. Remote role; candidate must reside in the territory and travel to multiple sites. Valid driver’s license required. Responsibilities Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products. Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business. Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products. Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region. Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support. Serve as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology. Required Qualifications High school diploma plus minimum of 6 years related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Or associate degree plus minimum of 4 years related experience. Or bachelor degree plus minimum of 2 years related experience. Preferred Qualifications B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales. Proven track record with technical training assignments. Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support. Additional Job Requirements Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation. Clinical Specialists required to be within assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs. Occasional travel outside of assigned territory and possibility of overnight stays. Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy. Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day. Must be able to drive approximately 25-50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel. Ability to use a computer and interact with personal computers. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary range: $120,000 to $125,000 USD for U.S. locations excluding Puerto Rico. Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
