Document Coordinator

Becton Dickinson seeks a Document Coordinator to manage medical documentation and customer communications for the Urology and Critical Care division. The role involves contacting physician offices, processing insurance and medical supply information, and meeting daily productivity targets in a call center environment.
Responsibilities
- Contact physician offices by phone, fax, and email to obtain medical documentation
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical supplies and insurance guidelines
- Identify and resolve customer service issues professionally
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call volume and productivity goals
- Track daily production and submit sales logs to supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year call center or customer service experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications and technical procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and call center telecommunications software
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, and medical billing concepts
- Intermediate math skills for calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages
