Material Handler I - 3rd Shift

Material HandlerCadrex is searching for a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within or near production facility or warehouse. Will be primarily responsible for maintaining adequate supply of materials at all running machines. This includes raw materials (resin), packaging, inserts, bags, labels, etc., as called out on the job "Pick List". The correct paperwork associated with any movement of these materials is the responsibility of the Material Handler. Lot number control is an essential part of material tracking (especially regrind) and this falls under the Material Handler responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning and loading all hoppers as required at set up.Ensuring excellent housekeeping to avoid contamination of materials.Must be aware of correct drying conditions for each material and set machine dryers accordingly. Monitors clean and change necessary filter at machine hopper, hopper loaders and machine loaders (minimum once per day).Move finished goods to the warehouse or to a location designated by the warehouse and fill out accurately any paperwork required.Ensure all hoppers, gaylords, boxes and other containers are marked accurately with material identification and quantity along with date as necessary.Mix color concentrates, foaming agents, regrind, etc. at the correct "let down ratio" to meet the job requirements.Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.Preferred QualificationsBasic understanding of the injection molding process.At least 6 months of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.Previous materials handling experience.Strong numeracy and analytical skills.Good problem-solving and time management skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.EducationHigh School diploma or GEDLocationOnsiteScheduleM-FTotal Compensation IncludesHealth/dental/vision coverageEmployer-paid and supplemental life insuranceShort- and long-term disability insuranceGenerous paid time off and holiday payMonthly remote work stipend (for remote employees who qualify)401(k) investment plan, with an employer match of up to 4%Education support programSafety eyeglasses/shoe reimbursementReferral bonusesBonus plan for all full-time employeesWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
