Collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager Manage project documentation – RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, transmittals and specifications Assist in material takeoffs, scheduling, and procurement Assist in problem-solving during the construction process Help with bid management Assist with permit acquisition and utility coordination Ensure project execution is aligned with plans, specifications, and company quality standards Participate in punch list preparation and closeout documentation Coordinate with trade partners and vendors to maintain project schedules and material delivery timelines WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED A team-first attitude and commitment to supporting coworkers A positive mindset and excellent interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills and professional communication The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenges effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally Associates degree in Construction Science or Management or equivalent combination of training and work experience 1+ years of experience in a Project Engineer Role in Commercial Construction and/or Multi-Family Projects Minimum 3+ years of construction experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE Voted #1 Best Workplace in South Carolina!
