Help Wanted – Sign Installation & Maintenance Technician
Northeast Sign & Lighting is looking for a motivated and dependable Sign Installation & Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced custom sign and graphics company seeking someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Install interior and exterior signage
- Service and maintain existing signs and lighting systems
- Perform vinyl applications and graphic installations
- Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and hand/power tools safely
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical sign issues
- Read work orders, site drawings, and installation layouts
- Ensure installations are completed safely, cleanly, and on schedule
- Work independently and with a crew on local and regional projects
Qualifications
- Experience in sign installation, electrical, construction, or related field preferred
- Clean and valid driver’s license required
- DMV driving record check will be conducted prior to hiring
- Ability to work at heights and lift 50+ lbs
- Basic electrical and troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Experience with channel letters, LED retrofits, vinyl graphics, and monument signs is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
