Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join TieTalent's dynamic, holistic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring optimal oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to deliver exceptional service in a friendly and professional environment. Holistic and biologically minded solutions are utilized. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including pediatrics and general dentistry services. Utilize medical imaging techniques as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficient in medical terminology, dental terminology, and infection control practices. Experience with patient care and assessment in a clinical setting. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or other dental practice management software is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Previous experience in pediatrics is a plus but not required.
