Mid Systems Engineer (NetApp LUNs Storage)

Position Overview Belay Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE2) to be the primary responsible SE supporting the Security organization. Responsibilities include performing SE duties for classified and unclassified network devices and systems, maintaining associated SSPs, performing monthly scanning and patching, and other related tasks. Most of the work is conducted in Linux, with some experience in Windows being desired. Qualifications TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Fourteen (14) years of experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Must have at least six (6) years of experience in at least one of the following areas:

QA, CM

Managing requirements and the requirements process Applying risk management principles System test programs Troubleshooting and monitoring Scripting bash/python System architecture UNIX, Linux, Windows MS Office Required Skills Linux systems administration experience – must be comfortable with command line and troubleshooting. Windows Server Virtualization – VMware Puppet experience or ability to learn quickly. SSP support: scanning, patching, maintaining documentation, and supporting ATO activities. Desired Skills OrchidCore/OrchidFusion – understanding bandwidth, resolution, troubleshooting. AWS or Cloud experience.
