Maintenance Manager

Position Overview

A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of equipment reliability, facility maintenance, and engineering project execution. This role is pivotal in minimizing downtime, extending asset life, and supporting long-term operational excellence through strategic planning, continuous improvement, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary maintenance and engineering team to ensure high equipment uptime and plant reliability.
• Design and manage a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance program.
• Oversee capital projects, installations, and process improvement initiatives from concept through execution.
• Optimize maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
• Champion a safety-first culture across all maintenance and engineering activities.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to support process control and scrap reduction efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
• Utilize CMMS systems to monitor performance and support data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive maintenance/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Strong proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
• Solid understanding of lean tools, TPM, and process optimization.

Preferred

• CAD experience
• Familiarity with winding or magnet wire-related processes
• Six Sigma certification
