Part Time Pharmacist

Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Provide direction related to quality, clinical, and compliance initiatives in accordance with state and federal laws Provide consultation and other pharmacy services to patients Supervise Apotheco support staff Perform other functions reasonably assigned consistent with the role Securely and appropriately handle Apotheco information and information received from customers, companies, and external parties Travel between other New Jersey satellite locations as needed Requirements BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school Licensed Pharmacist in Delaware and Pennsylvania, as applicable Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge Excellent customer service skills Familiarity with clinical program components, formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and prior authorization programs Time management skills Written and oral communication skills Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment Strong team-building and leadership skills Flexibility to travel between other New Jersey satellite locations per business needs Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Knowledge of Microsoft products Ability to comply with information security policies, employee handbook, and security and privacy regulatory requirements Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including talking, hearing, walking, sitting, using hands, and occasionally standing Core Competencies Demonstrates strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
