Senior Electrical Engineer, Team Lead

Position Location Chicago, Illinois, United States. Hybrid remote/in‑office role supporting our Buffalo Grove, IL branch, serving customers throughout the greater Chicago area. The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical engineers, providing work direction, mentorship, and electrical engineering development work. Responsibilities Lead and mentor team members in all aspects of the electrical product development processes. Complete the product development process from concepts to final production release in our on‑site factory. Align resources against varied tasks; new product development, customer support, procurement support, factory support. Provide day‑to‑day work direction and technical support as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. 5+ years of electrical hardware development experience. 2+ years of people‑management experience. Familiarity with commercial HVAC control components; controllers, actuators, sensors. Proven track record of managing development teams. Ability to use personal computers and software tools, working knowledge of PCB development tool sets, business software, PLM and ERP toolsets. 5% travel may be required. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications

BSEE.

Working knowledge of Siemens Xpedition PCB development tool set. Working knowledge of Siemens TeamCenter, SAP and IBM Jazz. Experience in EMC testing, prototype build and test, and other hands‑on environments. Compensation The pay range for this position is $92,320 – $158,263 annually with a target incentive of 8% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
