Job Description:

Full Time Days

Optimizes ultrasound settings for accurate image acquisition. Differentiates normal from abnormal fetal anatomic development. Identifies sonographic markers indicative of aneuploidy. Demonstrates knowledge of biotechnological and biomedical sciences relevant to sonography. Applies biomedical knowledge to patient care during sonographic procedures. Conducts thorough and precise ultrasound examinations. Communicates findings effectively to healthcare providers. Maintains patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures. Keeps accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborates with medical team to provide comprehensive care. Participates in continuing education to stay current with sonographic practices. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Detailed fetal anatomic surveys
• Doppler assessment of arterial and venous blood vessels.
• Nuchal translucency
• Fetal growth assessments
• Biophysical Profiles
• Transvaginal cervical length assessments
• Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cerclage)
• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements

Education:

• High School Grad or equiv
• Technical/Vocational School

Field of Study: Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Work Experience:

• 3+ experience in perinatal sonography
• Clinical ultrasound/vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography Experience

Additional Information:

• NT credential preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS)
• Driver's License (DL)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer w/ OB/GYN Spec (RDMS-OBGYN)

Pay Range: $26.41 $49.11
