Travel Radiologic Technologist - Louisville, KY

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible options: 4 x 10-hour shifts or 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday rotation included
• No on-call shifts
• Approval for requested time off managed by the department

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year radiology tech experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Active BLS, ARRT, and Kentucky state license (KBMIRT)
• Skills in general x-ray, orthopedics, trauma, operating room (OR preferred but not required), and portables
• EMR: Cerner

Patient Demographics & Workflow:

• Serve inpatient, outpatient, ER, OR, and trauma settings
• Anticipate a steady workflow with approximately 20 patients per tech per day
• Expected to float between ER, OR, and portables throughout the hospital

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform radiology studies as assigned, including in high-acuity environments
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (front desk, phlebotomy, IV/VAT, RT, hospitalist, intensivist)
• Utilize advanced imaging technology (Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE/Phillips c-arms, Medtronic o-arm)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EMR
• Uphold infection control, safety, and professional standards
