Summary

Entry-level manufacturing and production position in the Single Use Division based in Logan, Utah. This is a fully on-site role in a temperature-controlled cleanroom environment. The position involves operating machinery, assembling tubing and connectors, packaging and inspecting products, following blueprints and drawings, and maintaining compliance with cGMP, safety, quality, and company procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and no previous work experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment.
• Assemble tubing, connectors, and bioprocess components.
• Package and inspect products according to blueprints and drawings.
• Use computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, Bioprocess Container machinery, and pallet jacks.
• Follow cGMP requirements, safety standards, company operating procedures, and policies.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and work with other stations and departments to resolve quality errors.
• Maintain accurate documentation while performing tasks.
• Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI) activities.
• Consistently meet individual and team production goals while maintaining quality.
• Complete required training and focus on personal development.
• Follow assigned schedules to meet department and site goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous work experience required.
• Preferred experience in cGMP, manufacturing, operations, production, or warehouse environments.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and inventory management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand written materials, including words, pictures, numbers, blueprints, and drawings.
• Ability to accurately count, sort, calculate, and measure using tools such as calculators and tape measures.
• Ability to understand chemical safety information, including labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Ability to follow GMP and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for shifts of up to 12 hours, including overtime as required.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled cleanroom and follow strict cleanroom requirements.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety-toed boots, high-visibility gear, safety glasses, cleanroom suits, hair/beard coverings, gloves, lab coats, and ear plugs.
• Ability to stand and walk for the full shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and grasp.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and use hand tools requiring forceful gripping and grasping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work around loud equipment and machinery.
