Catering Server

Salary/Position Classification $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 10-20 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: No Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Duties & Responsibilities Set-up the tables, lay table linens, chairs, silverware, centerpieces, glassware etc., as assigned Attend to the guest’s needs and requests Server must have knowledge on what food he or she is serving in the case of a guest asking Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service, including washing and putting away dishes Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness Adhere to grooming and appearance standards Maintain positive guest relations at all times Perform other duties as assigned Provide exceptional customer service to our guests Must have availability between the hours of 10am-3pm Minimum Requirements Ability to stand for 3–4 hours Ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet. Must have availability between the hours of 10am-3pm Able to move up to 45 lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identityand eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
