Sr. Project Manager

Scrum MasterHCA ITG Scrum Masters are unique individuals who possess team leadership capabilities and the ability to drive development activities to completion. Scrum Masters provide leadership by aligning development teams to business goals and guiding though decisions which drive product development. In this role, the Scrum Master facilitates agile ceremonies to enable the team to meet their commitments, influence delivery quality, and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Scrum Master is responsible for tracking team velocity and reporting on progress. The Scrum Master will also manage stakeholder requests and work to remove roadblocks impeding the team from meeting their sprint goals.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate application development efforts utilizing agile principlesEffectively lead agile ceremonies such as standups, grooming, planning, review, and retrospectivesConfirm requirements align with business goals and application roadmapsRemove roadblocks to maintain progress and velocityTrack team velocity and plan work based on team capacityManage change, engage with stakeholders, apply governance and communicate impactPromote continuous improvement of lifecycle development processes through retrospectivesManage dependencies and coordinate resolutions across teamsTrack risks and issues, identify mitigation actions, and perform impact assessmentProactively assess team dynamic and address team dysfunctionStructure and organize product backlogAbility to quickly adapt and pivot to changing business needsServes as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiativesAbility to translate technical requirements to business language and value propositionsDefines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery planPublishes periodic project status reportsDelivers projects on time and on budgetRegular project communication with IT and business leadershipResponds to and resolves customer requests in a timely mannerRequirementsMinimum of Bachelor's degree8+ years of experience working as a Project Manager roleMust have a Scrum Master certificationExperience needed in software implementation, cloud migration experience is a plusStrong Agile and Scrum framework knowledgeProject planning and executionRisk management and issue resolutionStakeholder managementBudget and resource managementExcellent verbal and written communication skills
