Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K–12 students as a Physical Therapist within a Houston-area district. This full-time, on-site contract role provides vital services to a diverse student population across multiple campuses, collaborating closely with another PT for shared caseloads. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold active Texas Physical Therapist licensure (or PTA with substantial school or pediatric experience).
• Able to pass state fingerprinting and background checks (district may recognize existing prints).
• Previous employment with this district or prior terminations from ANY school district will disqualify—please be prepared to confirm.
• Demonstrated expertise in school-based therapy, preferably with experience documenting in Frontline or SuccessEd.
• Confidence in working K–12 caseloads and navigating multiple campus settings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating in a team of therapists.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess, plan, and deliver direct and consultative PT services to students across approximately 50 district campuses (case split between 2 PTs).
• Address a caseload of roughly 160 students, supporting 50 with direct services.
• Utilize the district office as your home base; travel between assigned campuses as needed.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation compliant with district standards.
• Coordinate with school staff and families to promote optimal student outcomes.
• Adhere to required schedules (either 8–4 or 7:30–3:30, depending on campus), ensuring full-time coverage at 37.5 hours per week.
