Location: West Des Moines, IA 50266 All Smiles Pediatric Dental is currently looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Dental Office Coordinator to join our growing team! Our practice combines exceptional pediatric dental care with a fun, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Our Office Coordinators are the friendly first face families see, an integral part of our care team and a vital part of delivering an outstanding experience for every child and caregiver who walks through our doors. Supportive and upbeat team culture Consistent weekday schedule with no Fridays Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's oral health Competitive benefits package Full-Time Benefits Include Medical insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and additional benefits Schedule Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm | Friday 7:45am – 1:30pm Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients and families warmly in person and by phone; check children in and out for their appointments Manage scheduling, including proactively contacting families to fill schedule openings Coordinate treatment planning and assist families in understanding their child's care recommendations Process co-pays and confidently answer questions regarding general practice policies and insurance Obtain and maintain accurate patient health histories, ensuring records are updated at each visit Record patient charting and doctor notes as directed What We're Looking For 2+ years of dental front office or coordination experience Experience in a pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with dental terminology, treatment coordination, and insurance basics Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) Friendly, patient-focused attitude with a genuine love for working with children and families Strong communication and teamwork skills Fluency in Spanish and English is required If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity with a caring team that values both patients and employees, we would love to hear from you!
