Position Summary Central Christian School is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered Student Support Services Coordinator to support the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success of students across the school community. This part-time position works collaboratively with administrators, teachers, families, and outside service providers to coordinate student support services, monitor interventions, and help ensure students receive the resources needed to thrive in a Christ-centered learning environment. The Student Support Services Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for student support processes while helping maintain compliance, documentation, and communication related to student intervention plans and accommodations. Student Support Coordination
- Coordinate student support services and intervention processes for students requiring additional academic, behavioral, or social-emotional support.
- Assist administrators and teachers in identifying students who may benefit from interventions or accommodations.
- Monitor student progress and maintain records related to support plans and interventions.
- Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, administrators, and outside service providers.
- Schedule and coordinate student support meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student support records.
- Track accommodations, intervention plans, and support services.
- Assist with compliance requirements related to student support documentation.
- Prepare reports and summaries for administrative review.
- Serve as a resource for teachers regarding student support strategies and accommodations.
- Partner with families to ensure clear communication regarding student needs and progress.
- Coordinate with counselors, specialists, and community service providers when appropriate.
- Support transitions for students entering, exiting, or changing support services.
- Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help identify barriers to student success and collaborate on solutions.
- Encourage student growth, independence, and self-advocacy when developmentally appropriate.
- Assist with student support scheduling and organization.
- Support implementation of school-wide intervention systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the CCS Statement of Faith.
- Active involvement in a Bible-believing Christian church.
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Central Christian School.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in education, counseling, psychology, special education, social work, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, special education, or related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and educational technology platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.
- Previous experience supporting students in a school setting.
- Experience with intervention programs, accommodations, or student support systems.
- Familiarity with educational assessments and progress monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to organize multiple projects and maintain detailed records.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism, integrity, and a growth mindset.
- Ability to move throughout campus and between classrooms.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
