Work hours: Full Time 36 Hours| Night Shift | 7PM 7AM; Rotating Weekends Medically Complex

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
• BSN preferred
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
• BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support and ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req
• RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care

What You Will Do:

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assess the patient
• Plan the care of the patient
• Intervene as appropriate
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporate age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
• Initiate action to meet patient and/or significant other's need for information
• Maintain continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers
