Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space while still being an integral part of a supportive team. Our outpatient office operates on the premise of providing high-quality mental health services in a manner that is accessible and convenient for our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain trustful relationships with clients, ensuring a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing a range of standardized tools and interviews.
  • Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, considering their circumstances and treatment goals.
  • Facilitate regular one-on-one and family sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to drive progress.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments and modify treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of client progress.
  • Act as a liaison, referring clients to specialists or additional services when necessary to enhance their treatment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in therapy, particularly in the areas of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals, couples, and families grappling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and trauma. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping them foster healthier relationships and coping mechanisms in everyday life. Your expertise will guide clients from diverse backgrounds to achieve their personal and familial wellness goals.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid license as an LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders as well as innovative treatment modalities.
  • Proficient in developing treatment plans and conducting psychological assessments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
  • Prior experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, determined by qualifications and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we provide a robust benefits package, including:
