This position will receive skillset training including soldering, epoxy application, laser welding, good documentation practices, etc. This position falls under the direct supervision of a production supervisor with regular guidance from Team Leads. The employee is responsible for the quality of their work and meeting all Quality System requirements for the tasks assigned. Essential Functions of the Position Under guidance of team members, pull components required for orders Raises issues or concerns with components, processes, documentation, and training when needed Operates equipment and processes per process specifications Accurately documents time to appropriate manufacturing orders Follows process specifications and production rules Performs company activities in addition to the above as assigned by production supervisor and/or team leader Performs in‑process inspection per process specifications and inspection documentation Manufactures quality product while maintaining line output and productivity requirements Assists with the packaging and labeling of products per process specifications and drawings Reads and understands work instructions in English Additional Essential Functions of the Position Maintains regular and predictable work performance Works under fast‑paced conditions Makes decisions and uses good judgment Prioritizes various duties and multitasks as required Works successfully with others Works with a diverse workforce Is flexible and versatile to meet business needs Performs additional duties as assigned Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to handle and assemble small parts Ability to work using microscopes and other magnifying aids Professional verbal and written communication skills Professional interactions with team members and employees Ability to read and understand work instructions written in English Preferred Qualifications Previous Medical Device industry experience Assembly experience and/or experience in manufacturing Basic technical skills Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards Basic Microsoft Office skills Other Requirements Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 50 pounds Ability to use hands to grasp and manipulate small parts in repetitive motion On‑demand overtime to meet production schedule may be required Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check AtriCure has a variety of benefits available for U.S. based employees and their families, including Medical & Dental beginning day 1 of employment, 401(k) plus match, 30 days of paid Parental Leave, Volunteer Time Off, Pet Insurance, and more.
