Bilingual Immigration Paralegal
Full time | In person | Los Angeles / Universal City
Our busy immigration law firm is looking for an experienced, bilingual paralegal to join our team. You’ll work closely with attorneys and clients on immigration and related state court matters. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, keeps cases moving, and cares about the people behind each file.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and manage adjustment of status, family based immigration, consular processing, and waiver cases, including I-601 and I-212 waivers.
- Assist with Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, including the related proceedings in Family Court and Probate Court.
- Gather evidence, prepare applications and supporting documents, and assemble filings and exhibits for USCIS and the Immigration Court (EOIR).
- Assist with I-751 petitions, naturalization, U visas, T visas, VAWA, and DACA matters.
- Track deadlines, communicate with clients, prepare responses to requests for evidence, and identify the next steps needed to move each case forward.
Required qualifications
- At least three years of immigration law experience .
- Hands-on experience with adjustment of status and SIJS cases , including Family Court and Probate Court proceedings .
- Experience with consular processing and I-601 and I-212 waivers.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong writing, organization, attention to detail, and client communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and immigration case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a busy practice.
A bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.
