AI Native Software Engineering Manager

Salary: $80,400 - 316,300 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 3 years of experience with cloud-native systems, including APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
• We need at least 1 year of experience designing and deploying agentic solutions in production, including agents, orchestration, context engineering, RAG, and workflow automation.
• We need at least 2 years of experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, and Vertex AI, plus open-source models, including building abstraction layers for multi-provider pipelines.
• We need at least 5 years of programming experience in Python, Java, or an equivalent language, along with familiarity with evaluation tools, logging, monitoring, and agent observability.
• We need at least 5 years of experience deploying production systems, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Helm, monitoring, and debugging.
• We need at least 5 years of experience in client communication and collaboration, including leading technical workshops and delivering in ambiguous environments.
• We need a bachelors degree or equivalent experience; an associate degree is acceptable with the required additional work experience.
• Bonus experience includes working as an Agentic AI Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Bonus experience includes AI certifications or hands-on exposure to agentic tools.
• Bonus experience includes enterprise-grade architectures for compound AI systems, orchestration frameworks, or agent registry and stream-based designs.
• Bonus experience includes understanding the AI-native paradigm, blending cloud-native and generative model architectures for performance, modularity, and efficiency.
• Bonus experience includes delivering solutions across multiple industries, such as finance and healthcare, by adapting agentic workflows to sector needs.

• We design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses, and lifecycle observability.
• We build integration layers across AI providers such as Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI to support seamless multi-provider enablement.
• We apply cloud-native engineering practices, including Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, serverless, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, and observability, to deliver scalable AI-native systems.
• We tailor and deploy agentic applications across industries such as finance, healthcare, and retail to automate domain-specific workflows.
• We work directly with clients as both technologists and trusted advisors, leading design workshops, proofs of concept, and code-with sessions.
• We define and track metrics, testing harnesses, and evaluation plans to assess accuracy, latency, safety, and cost efficiency.
• We create reusable patterns, documentation, and best practices that influence internal assets and client roadmaps.
• We may travel as needed based on business and client requirements.
