Job Description
MRI Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for an 8-hour day shift contract. This role will involve rotating call responsibilities and requires the ability to report within 30 minutes when on call.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans as per physician orders.
• Perform floating duties as required, including X-Ray, CT, Mammography, DEXA, and Fluoroscopy.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging services.

Shift Details

This position consists of 40 hours per week with the following potential shift times:

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Qualifications

• Current MRI certification via ARRT.
• AHA BLS certification required at the time of application.
• Associate degree in a relevant field.
• MRI experience is required; CT and Mammography experience are preferred.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train across different imaging modalities.

Work Environment

Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations are an essential aspect of this role. Candidates must be prepared to adapt to a dynamic work environment that includes various imaging services.
