Medical Assistant

Job Description Patients should be interviewed and their basic medical history should be documented. Appointments should be organized and scheduled. Medical records and insurance reports should be updated and filed on a regular basis. Make arrangements for hospital admissions and laboratory services. Check in with patients and create patient charts Help with medical examinations Create and distribute memos, letters, faxes, and forms for correspondence. Accounts receivable and payable are handled, and financial records are kept. Prepare and clean treatment rooms as well as medical instruments. Qualifications At least 2 years working experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Secretary is required. Familiarity with medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management abilities, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize work Social awareness and service orientation Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Excellent organizational and planning abilities MS Office and patient management software proficiency Diploma in Medical Assisting Additional Skills Proficient written and communication skills Able to follow health and safety guidelines consistently #J-18808-Ljbffr On The Job Staffing
