American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring at least one year of acute care experience and an active CA RN license.

Work in the Telemetry unit within an MS/Tele and Cardiac Telemetry setting, including ER Holding coverage. Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30, with rotating days Sunday through Saturday. Float required to other units as needed. Weekend coverage required. Epic EMR experience required.

Active CA RN license required. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (CPI preferred). Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience required. Minimum of 1 year full-time equivalent specialty experience within the past 2 years for specialized unit consideration.

Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response. Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral/central line care. Experience with respiratory care including oxygen administration, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy management. Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration required). Familiarity with post cardiac cath, CVA, TBI, and other cardiovascular/neurological conditions.

Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care across a broad range of cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, and post-surgical conditions. Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and utilize rapid response/code teams as needed. Manage wound care, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Local candidates are accepted. Travel nursing experience not required.
