Shifts: Friday - Sunday 7am - 7:30pm EST, on call/callback, holidays, and occasional weekends


Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This position involves working in a professional healthcare environment, providing diagnostic imaging services to enhance patient care. With a focus on safety and accuracy, the CT Technologist will play a vital role in assisting physicians in patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scan initiation
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for tests
• Position patients appropriately, including assistance with limited mobility
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation in EPIC
• Ensure images are correctly sent to the PACS system upon completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position)
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification
• Two (2) years of CT experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
